read an article recently on evangelical obsession with corporal punishment
while my parents were absolutely not as, uh, thorough, shall we say, about it, i uh, definitely relate to the way it described the known effects of persistent corporal punishment, and more specially, the demand for obedience. trouble asserting yourself in awhile stages in life and such. like yeah
