my opinion of the matrix protocol would probably much improve if the flagship mobile app wasn’t a native build of a web app lol
idk that i’ve ever used a webapp-y app that felt nice to use on mobile except for maybe pinafore
@monorail my favourite part about this is that many of third strike characters feel like they would taunt in battle to me, so adding gameplay incentives to actually do that makes it feel like how i’d expect fights to go in like, an anime of the game
signal honestly is also really nice in that regard. just a very functional and snappy feeling UI
Conversations is easily my favourite chat app i’ve ever used, especially for its UI, which was nothing special but Just Worked. had none of that really nonperformant-feeling webdev shit going on, just fast and snappy and using design cues from SMS applications
syphon is an interesting looking matrix client. unfortunately their project page says they have a nonprofit as the development organization and they accept bitcoin for donations, so i’m kinda sus on the devs. UI looks like it might be nice though
