its really cool that i built a blog by hand but this also means that i have to use the horrible workflow i built for it

@wallhackio what if you also built by hand a better workflow that sits on top of the horrible one

@Lady it's more that WSL is a pain in the ass to install so I'm using git bash to run bash scripts on my slow shitty laptop and the build takes 20 seconds to make the blog on this machine

@wallhackio @Lady i doubt WSL would make it faster on that hardware

@aescling @Lady git bash can be really really slow with io in my experience so its possible that it is making a difference

@wallhackio @Lady maybe. i figured the virtualization layer wouldn’t help but i guess git bash is using cygwin or something

@aescling @Lady the specific experience I have, where git bash was 10000x slower than powershell, was running npm install on a piece of shit laptop in 2021
