I gotta be honest, y'all, I genuinely find, like, "art food" or whatever you want to call it, the extremely expensive tiny portions weird presentation food thing, it's genuinely offensive to me on like a moral level

I'm paying you HOW much and you won't even give me a full meal? Fuck off

Call me an uncultured American or w/e but if I'm not at the very least leaving full and satisfied, you have failed your job as a restaurant

@coriander if everyone had the food security to not worry about going hungry and thus were able to appurroach food in this way if they so choose, i’d be fine with it, purrsonally. but that “if” is carrying a lot of weight

@aescling I think if the prices actually matched the portions I would also be less mad

but they don't

@aescling @coriander if it’s not being served out of a food truck in a row of 10 other food trucks i don’t have time for this bullshit

@Lady @aescling I used to be anti-food truck but I've come to realize this was a Fool's position

@coriander @Lady @aescling glad you’ve come around on this one street food is g

@aescling @coriander like sure, give me a small portion so i can try all the food trucks

but in a restaurant there is only one food truck
