@gaditb my timeline seems to have veered more towards “lets just all stay offline on election day” — much of what is there is election posting but its quieter than a normal Tuesday evening for sure

@rowyn yikes! Victory and Zhenshay and Moon better get here quickly

@pomological these apples have got us shook

@kate yeah it did feel like local coverage hard pivoted from talking about ice/immigration earlier in the election cycle to just war & economy (and really mostly just economy with the war being viewed as a reason the economy was bad) which… :/

@SocialGaff ah yes our roofing isn’t the flamethrower kind but i was vaguely aware they are used for some kinds of heat sealing! (the first word my brain went for here was welding which isn’t *entirely* wrong lol)

@SocialGaff wait what kind of contractors get to use a flamethrower??

@JessMahler yeah particularly with traditional heroes journey type stories where the main characters leave / normality is disrupted and then it concludes with their return / the restoration of normality it’s nice to be able to revel in the normal they were working towards the whole book, you know? even if doing so doesn’t actually tie any more plot threads than dropping a “the end” the second they get back would

@JessMahler i feel like if the story feels done you should trust that instinct, but also i tend to favor a longer denouement than most modern fiction gets so

@rowyn alarming!

@transfemwulian @FanPrompt awwww

@jnl your dad is right and he should say it

@gnomon that is such a cool event concept!

@pho4cexa cursed

@aschmitz @Lady that is the inherent issue with doing a poll on the less advertised candy bars
