@naye yay library! that looks like such a cozy spot to curl up and read

@Forestofglory i’m glad you enjoyed! that tree’s in a protected courtyard so it always blooms a little early — i’ve been enjoying watching its progress :)

@Forestofglory its kinda drab and rainy here today but the cherry blossoms are cheerfully budding despite the weather

@Jo ha yeah i thought there was a chance that we’d found the same listing! glad i could provide such a definitive answer then :)

@Jo huh interesting! possibly he was also the assay master for certain internal trading / verification then?

@Jo in philamuseum.org/collection/obj which uses that phrasing the geography metadata further down the page specifies “Probably made in Netherlands, Europe”

@XanIndigo @WanderingBeekeeper it can be helpful with alt juggling i think? i still get pings to my (completely defunct for over a year) .shop account sometimes because people grabbed the wrong one off the selector and i imagine thats only heightened if both accounts are active

@gaditb i think i was 13 when i got mod permissions on a site for the first time? That kind of small scale moderation is a lot easier to learn “on the job” but yeah it’d be cool if there were more resources/cultural support

@thedeadparrot the OTW’s history with their own finances are patchy enough that unfortunately i’m not sure i’d trust them with anyone else’s money? but it would be really cool to have something like open collective explicitly geared towards fandom/fannish spaces

Cat photos (with eye contact)

@ysabet awww happy birthday Yona!

@zkat weebs generally dont view japan as a real place full of real people, in my experience

that defines the diff for me far more clearly than any intensity thresholds

@Forestofglory @asya yeah i frequently wrap bc seeing complete per-cell info is more important than seeing more cells in total
