@bgcarlisle considering how many plots were resolved with eg. A dramatic reading of the US constitution or the power of love™ I’m kinda surprised this never happened
@suetanvil@mastodon.technology @KittyUnpretty LibreOffice has cloud storage now?
@georgespolitzer@monads.online @monorail i’ve mostly heard in in the context of like, “you need to speak up if you need help or no one will know” in the US
@Lady reasonable
@Lady they should definitely be reading fanfic at least occasionally then
@Lady why were you in a room full of published authors
@netkitty *patpatpat*
@technomancy 4th of July has already got fireworks, easy enough to add some founding father effigy destruction in!

@hafnia@weirder.earth @Cyannin @pagrus PA is extremely weird about alcohol, its true
Philly recently (like four years ago maybe) changed their laws about liquor licenses and this made a lot of people mad bc the artificial scarcity meant selling them was part of a lot of bar owners’ ‘cash out and retire’ plan
Canadian politics (procedural, not partisan)
@gnomon not sure i’m disappointed or relieved at the lack of pun options with Amos after the rather on the nose obviousness of Cummings
Canadian politics (procedural, not partisan)
@gnomon wait is the guy who’s last name is cumming the guy who showed up to work naked
@alpine_thistle do they steal eggs or something? I’ve always thought of them as tick-eating-friend
