@celli@octodon.social you have a ghost? 👀

@serenadestrong @soph_sol @Betty wikipedia says Husqvarna sold their sewing machine branch in 1997 to Viking Sewing Machine Group, which was later bought out by SVP worldwide (which also owns Singer and Pfaff, if you’re looking for the other letters in that acronym)

@montag ahh interesting! i’ll be interested to hear how they come out, getting a good green that stays green sounds tricky!

@lookitmychicken write your own alt text in a reply to the post and then boost both the image and your alt text?

@montag what color green are you aiming for?

@essentialrandom i’ll admit i didnt even get to 8 bc i was still stuck on 4

PWP, there's like an earring side plot I tried to focus on idk

@Cyborgneticz they’re just an entity that occasionally shows up with free soup—last time it was a choice of lentil or beef barley—and then leaves as soon as its gone. They gesture at the sign with the names of the soups if you try to ask questions

@Cyborgneticz i apparently have such big soup vibes that a friend created a D&D npc for me, unprompted, named the Soup Being

@polyplacophora i know its difficult for conventions to back out of hotel contracts bc they’re forced to sign 1-2 years in advance usually but like. Surely this counts as a reason to be let out of contract so someone else can use the space?????

@ysabet yeah i dont get it! it seems both easy to code and a fairly obvious thing to want but

i remember on tumblr everyone would hack this by having an “original post” tag so you could go to like name.tumblr.com/tagged/original or whatever haha

@ysabet yeah on Mastodon you can turn off seeing someone’s boosts in your feed, but can’t ever just see a list of all their posts on their profile? it seems backwards lol
