I am extremely confused about these vocabulary subheadings

@eldang yeah harpsichords have such an unusual sound compared to most other string instruments!

Thanks for linking, will definitely check it out

@pagrus @twistylittlepassages the great thing about English is that its weird now but it used to be even weirder, so there’s always precedent hahaha

re: cat ec

@Cyannin haha he looks like he knows being comfortable is most important

@KittyUnpretty not sure the skin is quite gnarly enough for fried chicken -- if anything it's uncannily smooth 😆

@KittyUnpretty yeah that is also extremely weird! You were dead on with the buddha’s hand comparison

Satsuma boosted

@Cyborgneticz ugh :/

whatever I have until the end of the semester to figure it out

@Cyborgneticz that's good to know! Kinda makes me lean towards my legal name then hmmm

@Cyborgneticz yeah but on the other hand if I do change my name some day, I'll just be on the other side of the same 'that stuff is definitely me' fence (tho at least with legal documentation to prove I'm telling the truth lol)

@Cyborgneticz ah yeah I just mean like, if I'm applying to grad school how difficult is it going to be to be like 'this stuff is *definitely* me, ignore the name'

@Cyborgneticz I keep going back and forth about whether I want to be published under my legal name (at least as an undergrad it'd be fairly easy for me to be credited under the name the university uses, which is not the same as my legal name)
