My piece on Walter Benjamin and how reading him brings people without epilepsy into an epileptic-esque sense of reading is out!

@Cyborgneticz every time I see your full name I'm like "damn that's a good name"

@Cyborgneticz I keep going back and forth about whether I want to be published under my legal name (at least as an undergrad it'd be fairly easy for me to be credited under the name the university uses, which is not the same as my legal name)

@Satsuma Well you can publish under any name you want, they never ask for proof or anything

@Cyborgneticz ah yeah I just mean like, if I'm applying to grad school how difficult is it going to be to be like 'this stuff is *definitely* me, ignore the name'

@Cyborgneticz yeah but on the other hand if I do change my name some day, I'll just be on the other side of the same 'that stuff is definitely me' fence (tho at least with legal documentation to prove I'm telling the truth lol)

@Satsuma Oh I emailed the journal I published under and they changed it super easy

@Cyborgneticz that's good to know! Kinda makes me lean towards my legal name then hmmm

@Satsuma the one problem is that it does still show up with my birth name cause online records, so I'd weigh that

@Cyborgneticz ugh :/

whatever I have until the end of the semester to figure it out
