Here's one that will get me in trouble:
I think Ghostbusters is only pretty good
It's a good, funny movie, it's well made, it's a lot of fun
I don't think it deserves to be enshrined the way it has been is all
@coriander i, in fact, disliked it, so I think you're being too generous
@coriander the main character is an asshole and is the hero all while being a selfish prick who sucks the whole time, i found it annoying
The characters who aren't bill murray are extremely underdeveloped
The occasional funny joke didn't overcome how fundamentally unlikeable the film was
@wallhackio @coriander also it is anti government regulation and specifically the EPA
@Lady @wallhackio The libertarian bent it has is definitely weird
@Lady @wallhackio @coriander i’m sorry to dogpile on you goblin but clodboy is just right on this one, i also quite disliked it
@aescling @wallhackio @coriander i liked it as a kid and agree it is a well‐crafted movie but it deserved a much better script
@aescling @wallhackio @coriander they should set more movies in New York firehouses tho that is a large part of the appeal
@wallhackio Now that's just wrong
