I do think it's interesting that we treat "nonstandard" (for lack of a better term) TLDs so different from, like, .com, .org

I wonder how different the internet would look if weird nerds in the 90s could have .wolf or whatever on their geocities pages

@coriander bumbythelo.af is an option but .af is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Afghanistan and I don't remember what the specific issue was there but there were issues that discouraged me from pursuing that one

@wallhackio Yeah in general I feel like using specific national ones if you're not in that country is, at best, a little rude and, at worst, could cause problems
