@wallhackio But if you eat him, you gain his powers.
@aschmitz tempting, i'll admit. but i cant do it
@aschmitz @wallhackio i said this and everyone else in the house was like “no you have to have kirby powers already”
@Satsuma @wallhackio Only one way to find out.
(Alternatively, "You don't have to eat it so much as just unhinge your jaw and inhale it.")
@wallhackio kaabii
@wallhackio he would eat you if given the chance in order to get at your clod abilities
@Lucy no i would give him some food and then we would become friends :)
@wallhackio autism
@monorail it was supposed to be Kirby but now I cannot unsee this
@wallhackio @monorail i thought she was just saying you have autism lol
@wallhackio @monorail the opening to kirby’s adventure but it ends with the “yipee!” sound
@wallhackio oh that's funny, i see it now too but i was calling you autistic
@wallhackio for pack bonding with a cookie
@monorail oh lmfao. also fuck you even though youre right
@wallhackio Do elaborate 👀
@vaporeon_ japan does not have gendered pronouns but the english translations use "he". mostly in japan Kirby has been portrayed as ambiguous or perhaps fluid, and Sakurai has never given an exact gender, but has also used language in one game that is usually said by mascs.
@vaporeon_ canonically Kirby is a lovecraftian god that was supposed to consume the entire universe but was given food as a baby by kind individuals and that has kept Kirby from eating everybody
@wallhackio in japanese it is apparently deliberately ambiguous; the VA even openly endorses the gender ambiguity
@wallhackio oh you’ve already gotten the answer nvm
@aescling @wallhackio The VA's voice is also gender-ambiguous?
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio more that she endorses the ambiguous nature of kirby’s gender. though i think you could accurately describe kirby’s voice as ambiguous https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHfoGyaDuZE
@wallhackio well I can't do it, I'm diabetic
after writing this i wondered if kirby is actually a "he" and my roommate checked the wiki and the answer is "yes and no"
