probably will add everything everywhere all at once
@wallhackio today I've found out you know about competitive Brawl, and you're one of those weird movie likers. To clarify: both of these are things that surprise me
You should probably hang out with @Alexis (for the movie thing)
@wallhackio @Alexis it's fun because it's not clear which word the emphasis is on
@wallhackio no. I'm more of a traditional fighter gal and I just played Smash casually, but I support my friend monorail in her Melee-ing
@wallhackio @The_T No, competitive Brawl to me is what weird movie liking is to Ti. But I *am* a weird movie liker -- I watch one every day and usually livetoot 'em.
@wallhackio you’re lying if you don’t add the incredibles to your list
@aescling i love the incredibles but not as much as these other films.
might have to add it if i can't reach 10
@aescling @wallhackio not everything everywhere all at once?
@wallhackio @aescling mad max fury road
@Satsuma @wallhackio i keep furgetting about that one
@aescling @wallhackio have u watched Ip Man
@wallhackio @aescling u wld probably not put it in yr top ten then
@wallhackio @aescling it’s very watchable imo and i think you would enjoy it regardless (it is prob on netflix?) but me trying to go “okay but THIS martial arts movie has better and more subtle camerawork and fight choreo than any of the others” is meaningless if you don’t particularly care about fight choreo
@aescling @wallhackio M says also watch her copy of Red Cliff (2008)
@aescling @wallhackio she says she has already told u this so if you’ve watched it you should text her yr review
@aescling @wallhackio u risk loosing your nagging æsc about kill la kill privileges
@wallhackio @aescling anyway i refuse to believe you saw 0 good movies between 2000 and 2010 you should consider this era more deeply if u want a good overview of the 21st century
@aescling @wallhackio valid but may be worth going back and revisiting some of the more notable ones at least
@aescling @wallhackio have you seen Mulholland Drive (dir. David Lynch, 2001)
@Satsuma @wallhackio check upthread
@aescling @wallhackio whichever post u are referring to is not visible to me
Forgot how much I loved City of God! And maybe Interstellar, the only nolan film that i really love
