cold toast
@alyssa what size are they? we have something similar thats popular w/the italian american population but they’re fairly small—crackerish in size
M and Caleb had never heard of them and were super confused, which was not helped by the fact that i didn’t know any names for them except “mini toasts” 😂
@Satsuma yeah they're also cracker-ish in size. yeah! same problem in describing or looking them up. i think i found that link by searching "tostadas snack" jiji
@alyssa italian argentinian culture solidarity in having a weird toast snack you don’t have a name for i guess 😂
@Satsuma very plausibly not unrelated
@Satsuma neutral toward cold toast
it's nice warm, but can cool off quickly and that's okay
@Satsuma not good. But better than no toast.
@villainousfriend i was kinda assuming we all preferred warm toast and this is just a spectrum of how you feel when its not available
@Satsuma Only good if the toast was not buttered after it cooled.
@aschmitz as in, you prefer dry toast to buttered toast?
@Satsuma Dry or buttered before it cooled.
@Satsuma everyone i know makes fun of me because i have a firm belief in cold butter on warm bread/toast and warm butter on non-warm bread/toast. the temperature contrast is a plus
@Satsuma my life was changed the first time i came to argentina and had this type of things https://tosti.com.ar/
