@coriander I don't have any clue how she did it. She spent all her savings on a rather extravagant wedding and she and her husband lived in a rather expensive house they rented. They must have gotten a lot of help from their friends or something I dunno

@coriander to be perfectly honest i would happily go back to college

going to a small college was a cool experience. in one of my programming classes the prof sent every student in the class a postcard with a handwritten message at the end of the semester. good times!

@vaporeon_ i guess it had to if it was able to handle what i gave it

@vaporeon_ yeah racket is a lisp. it was a blast :clodsire_head::clodsire_tail:

i remember during a lecture we were asked to write a factorial function, and i decided to input something absurd like, 10,000,000 as the input during lecture and 20 minutes later my function finished and took five full minutes to print the digits of the resulting number on my terminal which made the lecture very hard to pay attention to

@vaporeon_ a really good job opportunity that just opened up for me is, unfortunately, a java backend job

@vaporeon_ i did take an extremely fun class that taught us perl, C, and racket

@vaporeon_ unfortunately my undergrad program taught us java for the introductory classes :clodsire_angy:

@vaporeon_ i was exaggerating. there are plenty of useful things to learn in computer science program

@vaporeon_ so software engineers have something to learn while getting their master's degree

reporting every single one of you for failing to inform me that DK64 was finally added to nintendo switch online
