I had to reread the second chapter four times, one of the times after getting through the first two thirds of Part I, to really comprehend the conversation that happened there

Dune will just use words that it has never explained and trusts that you will figure out what they mean eventually

It's like if Star Wars never has that scene where Obi-Wan explains to Luke what the Force is

It's probably a book best read after you've absorbed some of it through cultural osmosis

@Thomas @lapis its a workout and i am very inexperienced doing it by hand and the last time i did that it took 8,000,000 years because i was learning how to do it properly and i have a lot planned for today and this bread takes like 6 hours to make due to resting so i don't think its gonna work out

its just flour, yeast, and water which are all cheap so no biggie
