@vaporeon_ the two pokemon choices are fish and not fish
@alas @vaporeon_ In javascript concatTasks is just
const concatTasks = (...tasks) => (meta, ...args) => tasks.map((fn) => fn(meta, ...args))
But to get the magic type inference in TypeScript I have to write
@alas @vaporeon_ what I am doing is taking two functions that take the same list of arguments and "concatenating" into one function
The new function takes a list of arguments, passes them to the given functions, and returns a list of return values from each input
I want typescript to make this all Just Work. I want it to implicitly understand the type of the new function.
it does seem to work, now. probably
@lapis clap
re: jujutsu kaisen minor spoilers
@lapis @murz There is an arc in the beginning of season 2 of the anime adaptation that goes back in time, so it's not really a spoiler to reveal that Gojo wins a fight since we obviously know that he must have survived it
But he wins the fight by "multiplying his negative energy with negative energy to turn it into infinite positive energy" and I'm like ok, clearly this is all bullshit
@vaporeon_ then again, there is a spot in the fridge that freezes my shit, so they really are the same thing
@coriander also the nicest character in the film is named Caleb which makes it even better
@Thomas I also hate Al
@coriander banger film, The People have no taste
@vaporeon_ they both make things cold so its the exact same thing when you really think about it
@Thomas @coriander lmfao
