Also I should watch Over the Garden Wall
@coriander goblin it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good you have no idea
@wallhackio It's been on the periphery of my radar since it came out and I think this 'ween it's finally time
@coriander it is peak autumnal viewing and also wonderful and funny and sweet and charming
@coriander @wallhackio it is about cassette tapes
@Lady @wallhackio This tells me nothing and yet I am positive you are correct
@coriander @wallhackio one time when i was on an internet date with a girlfriend (who was older than me) we watched an episode of Elementary where Sherlock Elementary explains to the viewer how placing tape on a VHS lets you record over whatever it came with and my date partner was like “wait really??” and i was like “yes this is true of all tapes; that is why in the Blue Scholars song Geo says ‘I’ve still got cassette tapes with tape on top of them / maybe I should auction them / lately I’ve been rockin them’ but internally i was like “this is the problem with todays generation they never recorded over a tape”
@coriander @wallhackio and anyway let me tell you over the garden wall knows you can put tape over the hole on a cassette to record over it
@Lady @wallhackio The thing I have always loved about you is your extremely beautiful and idiosyncratic way of viewing and also explaining things
@wallhackio I saw a video that was like "Send this to your friend who hasn't seen Over the Garden Wall" which I watched and I came out knowing less about what the show was about than before
