@wallhackio DAMMIT THAT SONG HAD BEEN OUT OF MY HEAD FOR LIKE A MONTH HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME
@lapis never heard this Important Work before, thanks for sharing
@lapis what is the Night Vale
@wallhackio @lapis WHAT
@wallhackio @lapis Hey @aescling get in here and explain why your brother doesn't know what Night Vale is
@lapis @coriander @aescling what the fuck is the Night Vale
@wallhackio @coriander @aescling if nothing else before Cecil Baldwin really gets comfortable in his role the first ~10 or so episodes are kind of relaxing to fall asleep to (provided you don't have weird dreams about like secret police or something).
@wallhackio @coriander @aescling should also say: Also foundational because the protagonist (Cecil Gershwin Palmer) is gay and in love with Carlos the scientist (With great hair!) that enters Nightvale on the first episode. I believe they become canon anyway I have to go I'm gonna restart my listen of Nightvale I gotta get back into it
@wallhackio @coriander @aescling anyway btw as of now (as I am SO incensed by this... this IGNORANCE) I am now establishing a Podcast audio drama bookclub on Mastodon your required listening is some nightvale.
ALL OF YOU IN THE HELL THREAD I MEAN IT (assuming I don't immediately forget about this) ![]()
@wallhackio @coriander @aescling Put into your podcast app "Welcome to Nightvale" and download a few episodes.
It's basically about a town where weird conspiracy theories are usually true.
Like the city builds a dog park.
You cannot enter the dog park.
Dogs cannot enter the dog park.
DO NOT GO NEAR THE DOG PARK
and stuff about the sheriff's secret police
