Problem: I forgot how to do sockets programming, and it seems to be different on Solaris 7 anyway, there is no getaddrinfo

I guess I need to find some 1990s introduction to sockets programming?

@wallhackio Has Clodsire ever written a program that talks to the Internet?

@vaporeon_ :clodboy_cowdsire: ⬅️ has written many an asynchronous javascript program

@vaporeon_ my C and C++ adventures have not led me to talking to the Internet

@vaporeon_ I was at one time very good at using C++ to generate histograms

@wallhackio If you did want to talk to the Internet, you'd need to use something called Berkeley sockets (at least in C, I've no idea whether C++ provides any different interfaces), or call a library that uses those sockets for you...
