pizza
@wallhackio Why do you keep only asking questions where the answer is baking? Surely you should throw a "cooking" in one of these.
@aschmitz I genuinely felt they were all debatable 😭
@wallhackio I'm like 80% kidding, but also I'm pretty sure I've voted for baking in all of them.
@aschmitz @wallhackio i am a little surprised you think both pizza and hot chocolate are baking. Like i can see arguments for either but mostly in ways which preclude the other from being baking
food
@Satsuma @wallhackio I mean, at least in the case of a fresh pizza, you bake bread. It's done in an oven. Seems like baking? (The Google Books Ngram Viewer says frequency agreed with me until 2006 or so, when "cooked a pizza" pulled ahead of "baked a pizza".)
I'm not sure hot chocolate is either of them (and neither "cooked hot chocolate" and "baked hot chocolate" appear in said viewer), but I feel like you typically bake chocolate more than you cook it (which aligns with frequencies).
@wallhackio never seen anyone bake a pizza tbh
@AsterMeadows @wallhackio i'd argue making a pizza is definitely baking since you're taking a dough and putting it in an oven to turn it into bread
@Lucy @wallhackio wrong
@Lucy @wallhackio i cook my pizzas in a fryin pan
@AsterMeadows @wallhackio still a bread my friend, making something like a skillet flatbread is still considered baking
@AsterMeadows @wallhackio bestie have you ever been inside a pizzeria?
@wallhackio it's both! it's both!!
@wallhackio they call it take and bake pizza, not take and cook pizza
@coriander never heard of "take and bake" pizza but I believe you
@wallhackio @coriander -fry eye squint- Not sure if trolling or
@wallhackio You put the pizza into the oven and bake it. Therefore baking. Easy.
