@alyssa It's not uncritically GOOD autism rep (protag isn't really allowed development across the plot, I think they missed a choice in writing the butcher-shop sequence that weakened the commitment to the character, arguably it's stereotyping and tokenizing in general and maybe somewhere in the -sploitation metagenre) but you're not gonna see anything like this: Chocolate (2009), Thai martial arts film starring Jeeja Yanin. She's incredible in it (if you're into martial arts films) and I keep meaning to watch the next two films she was in, Raging Phoenix and This Girl Is Bad-Ass.

Jan Švankmajer's Alice [in Wonderland] (1988). IIIRC a rather faithful adaptation of the book in mostly-silent stop-motion with characters made of household scraps, tho it's been a while since I've watched this.
