i request recommendations for good introductory linguistics materials
@alyssa "Linguistics of American Sign Language: An Introduction" (Valli, Lucas, & Mulrooney) was interesting to me just as another frame for how to consider representing communicated thoughts. I don't have many similar things to compare the specific book to, so there may be better options in the same space, but if nothing else it might be an interesting area to think about.
