a kind of funny thing about trans disourse is that reactionaries will sometimes try a gotcha like “well what if you wanted to be a different species???” or whatever but then you have furries who unironically say “if you call me a human, you are misgendering me”

simplest way to write such a clue would be a three word [fodder] [anagram indicator] [definition] that still works if fodder and definition are swapped. i feel like this should be pawsible to write
diabolical
cryptic clue with ambiguous wordplay (you can read two diffurent definitions and wordplay into it), and which can only be truly solved with checking letters
man, i hate cryptic clues that split an anagram into multiple words
granted, i had seen it befur from the furst clue writing competition, but i completely furgot it and had to reconstruct the wordplay anyway. maybe had a subconscious leg up though
