twin said a while ago he thought the movie would have worked if it had just embraced being utterly silly and ridiculout and it is very disappointing to me that this is the only thing that the franchise is able to succeed at at this point
i can’t relate to liking how he actually comes off like a credible threat given that the movie goes out of its way to be inconsistent about how seriously you can take it, up to and including making knuckles able to take the biggest hit possible and then completely undermining the idea a few minutes later because haha funnie
it really surprises me that people who actually care about knuckles as a character (i do nyat) aren’t offended by what they did to him in sonic 2 (movie) like i am
