there’s an entire paper out there laying out the Neo-is-trans reading of the film that unintentionally accidentally makes for a really depressing read of the ending, which it presents as a vision of trans liberation through Neo’s individual self-actualization. which like. bruh, Neo’s only able to do that because Neo’a a Special Prophecy Dude; what are the rest of us supposed to do?

it’s the weekend before solstice and i think it would be cool if people were to give my spouses money
another reason the watch dogs DLC stands out from base game is that the player character, while frankly unlikeable, is much, much less so than the player character of base game, making for (imo) surprisingly effective dramatic moments where you learn about something really fucked up by a fucked up group of people and it doesn’t really feel so hypocritical for the player character to want to bring it down
