for the record i checked systemd first before doing anything and it said every service was working fine, so um,
maybe that was a little reckless but the kernel and libc updated because debian had a new point release so i needed to reboot anyway
yeah so GlitchCat went down for no discernable reason and for some reason a reboot made it Fine
