today's embarassing adventure: getting lunch while i'm out doing errands. person at the counter sees me using a cane and says "do you need a hand with that?"
"no, i'm good, ty though"
cane immediately hits a slippery spot and i drop food all over the floor
i'm totally fine, just had to emergency adjust my balance and the food didn't make it
they replaced the food for free and brought it to me. and when i bent down to pick something up they were like "no no i'll get it" but i wanted to do something i was so embarrassed lmao
on one paw it's my fault because there was a caution wet floor sign, i was being cautious stepping with my paws but didn't even think that the cane might slip when i put my weight on it. on the other paw, it's not like there are any seats here with a dry path to them from the counter. i'm actually still sitting here because i'm scared to go to the door lmao
