Are there even airplanes in the Pokémon games? There are a few in the Pokémon Journeys anime...
Presumably though, if you're a Pokémon trainer, you'd just fly on Latios or something

@vaporeon_ it eats a sandwich that got exposed to tera energy and gains the ability to do that. i don’t think it was ever able to fly befur that
@aescling @vaporeon_ or more likely the tera sandwiches are unlocking it's power, since it's an ancient dormant (or in the case of Miraidon, future dormant) creature
