@wallhackio I will keep annoying you about Linux until you finally finish installing Linux
@aescling @wallhackio Is he doing a dual-boot or is he willing to overwrite all the Windows stuff on his HDD and has good backups?
@aescling @wallhackio You did instruct him how to shrink the Windows partitions and where to then install the Linux, right? Don't want him to lose all his data...
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio having done that befur i instead suggested to him to just install onto a sepurrate hard drive altogether—windows makes successfully shrinking the NTFS partition it was installed into very, very difficult

@aescling @wallhackio I've never had good experiences with USB flash storage... (Unless you mean external HDD connected by USB? That's OK, but also rather slow... I guess he can dd his Linux installation over to a real HDD if he acquries a second HDD?)
