I feel like I’m one of the rare autistic people who is not a picky eater

@cam i have trouble with mealy textures. whole wheat bread, bananas 😭😭😭, and stuffed peppers are difficult for me

i also find olives abhorrent but i think that's just a genetic thing like cilantro or grapefruit

@wallhackio @cam I made the mistake recently of buying a food at some sort of event that was taking place on the campus and I was so hungry that I didn't read the description properly and didn't notice that it had– salad? lettuce? awful green leaves... and also tomato.

So I had to take apart the thing and remove all the leaves (which was difficult) before even starting to eat it... Even though I would prefer not to even touch them if I have the choice, but I had to...

Thought I'd at least try to eat the tomato as not to waste food, but I made it through ½ of a tomato slice before deciding that I absolutely can't do that...

@wallhackio @cam At least the other food was nice. Besides the thing that contained lettuce and thus was awful, I also bought a "wrap", which was filled with beans (which are surprisingly OK for me...) and maize and some red sauce, they called it "chilli sin carne" (like chilli con carne, but vegetarian), that was pretty nice

And the sweets were delicious
I got a vanilla ice cream and I got some crêpes with mashed apple (I'm fine with a lot of fruits if you just blend them into a homogeneous mass first)

Also, a big glass of water

Only downside was that I had to eat all that stuff in one sitting instead of taking it home and eating some of it later... Because otherwise, I couldn't have returned the dishes after that...
