kill james bond: I love the hosts but now that I'm through the james bond episodes they're talking about random other action movies and I know even less about those.

the common descent podcast: delightful show all about paleontology, but the two hosts have some verbal tics that bug me, and I have to speed it up SO fast to not get impatient with how slowly they talk, as well

The China History Podcast: the host clearly knows a lot about china but he's also just.......very american. so american.

The Chinese History Podcast: a very good podcast focusing on chinese history but a) there's very few episodes and it seems abandoned, and b) it assumes you know some things going in as each episode is talking about a very specific type of thing

the master of demon gorge: tbh it's been long enough since I last listened to an episode of this that I forget what bugged me

I really wish the it was bigger scene though , I want something that's accessible but also skeptical of the concept of "china" as long lasting historical thing
