has good music finally released in 2026?? or will these two albums by artists i reliably love both disappoint me???
every year i make a playlist of music that released that year that i loved and this year that playlist has. one song. it is October send help (good music)
despite the metadata saying this was released in january it was in fact released yesterday. i assume there was a 10 to 01 typo somewhere lol
TOMMY LEFROY RELEASES NEW ALBUM
“THE PRECARIAT”
please more of this kind of girl energy from bands in 2027 thanks
@Lady Hm, no love for the new Emancipator or various CHVRCHES singles? (I also liked Spunkshine's _Siege Engines, probably_ ("Its Function Remains Assumed Rather Than Confirmed" is maybe the highlight for me?), but it's probably not your kind of thing.)
There's not really a lot this year that has broken through for me either, I guess (even the new Boards of Canada, somehow). Looks like I missed a new Hermanos Gutiérrez album, will have to try that.
@aschmitz i mostly only listen to albums or EPs so i have not listened to the new CHVRCHES singles yet; perhaps i should
@Lady That's fair, mostly you get a couple covers (I did enjoy their "Such Great Heights" cover though) or a single from the album due in January, but that'll obviously be too late for 2026.
