@aescling Judging by the general reaction to the whole thing, if he does release another book, there is absolutely no way he will see the kind of sales he saw before; almost all of his true fans have disavowed him entirely

@aescling Like, he will get some sales, there are the hardcore fans who refuse to believe what happened and I'm sure there will be some right-wing weirdos who glom onto it but for the most part I genuinely do not think his career will ever recover unless he goes full right-wing grifter
Which, I mean, unfortunately I can't discount this possibility entirely but it still feels unlikely tome
