@kemonine i think people are burned out from all the new users and having a major and potentially troublesome upgrade on top of that is just more work on their plate

we're fortunate here in that @aescling does a lot of our technical work whereas i do most of the moderation, so they don't have to worry as much about the new users and i don't have to worry as much about the difficult codebase migration

but on a lot of instances it's the same person doing both
