i always feel really sus on the idea of “rescuing” necessarily entailing domestication and necessarily being an improvement to their life beforehand (aside from the aspect of literally saving lives)

this is not saying Rescuing+Domesticating Animals Bad i just mean the idea that the former implies the latter feels very uncomfy with me
