one time i asked my brazilian labmate from grad school if it's common to see capybaras in brazil or if they're kind of elusive and she was like "oh they're everywhere like deer"

But my current opinion is "you probably shouldn't but its unlikely to be catastrophic if you did, but you still probably shouldn't"
