@wallhackio @The_T harvey is ugly, Demetrius is fine but his insistence on tomatoes >>not<< being a vegetable when vegetable is a culinary distinction and not a taxonomic distinction is idiotic. I also found it annoying as fuck that he threatened me over two hearts of friendship with his daughter
@wallhackio @The_T I also find Demetrius to be a very obnoxious autistic stereotype and people act like somehow he is excused for his deliberately obtuse behavior because he seems autistic. literally any autistic person that can go to the grocery store on their own would be able to tell you that a tomato is not a fruit that would be used in fruit salad, there is no amount of literal thinking that would make anyone believe that tomatoes would be a good choice when someone asks for “some fruit”

@cam @wallhackio Marlon is "a cool dude" but also I'm leery of the real world repercussions of people going into animal's habitats and hunting the animals down and calling them monsters

@The_T @wallhackio yes, if you make it to the sewer you can befriend a friendly shadow person (one of the monsters) and eventually ask him to be your roommate
afaik they attack humans on sight due to past negative experiences
@The_T @wallhackio there’s a mod pack that actually somewhat addresses the issues with humans attacking the sentient monsters but unfortunately the base game only barely touches upon it
@cam The majority of my Stardew playing has only been in Archipelago randomizer; but there are a subset of mods that work with AP (add new locations and items relevant to those mods). Unfortunately after the last major update (6.0 I think?) some of the mods don't work with the new version so the AP mod deprecated them.
@wallhackio @The_T the wizard as well, but I think he’s kinda ugly. It’s not that he looks old but that he looks comical with the giant purple beard
