@vaporeon_ software engineer: gotta go fmt
@wallhackio Programmer: gotta goto fast;
@vaporeon_ it's a formatter, it will automatically edit your code to enforce style conventions without changing any actual logic
Things like curly brace placements and indentation and so on
@wallhackio For the Go programming language? I didn't expect Clodsire to know Go...
Some previous course required us to use clang-tidy for a similar purpose...
@vaporeon_ I don't actually know go. Deno has deno fmt and i raved about it to cat once and she was like "oh yeah they just stole that from go"
@wallhackio Reported for using JavaScripts ![]()
@vaporeon_ no I love JavaScript 🛡️

@wallhackio Reported. ( @aescling )
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio we like JavaScript here on GlitchCat
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ the actual fmt(1) just line wraps plaintext documents; some developer tooling fur some purrogramming languages use the name fur their autofurmatter
