@coriander @aescling spectacular spiderman was only 26 episodes and was good (probably great, I LOVED it back in the day but my tastes have changed since then)
@aescling @coriander Disney intentionally killed the show because they had their own spiderman cartoon that was gonna crossover with other marvel cartoon they had lined up at the time, so Disney bought the show from Kids WB as the second season was airing and aired the final season with months-long intervals between episodes
That bring said, the absurdly dense writing was a blessing in those circumstances
@wallhackio @coriander i was fascinated by my finding watching through it a couple episodes at a time that the density we loved so much when watching it at the time was unpleasant to watch fur multiple episodes at a time
