@vaporeon_ @wallhackio well it was first developed in the 1800s when communication across the ocean was a lot slower so i imagine one name gained popularity here and another there

@wallhackio @vaporeon_ I know about the name at all because there's a scene with heavy plot revelations in Beneath a Steel Sky (great game)... after this a character suddenly offers the protagonist some paracetamol, leading to the incredible line of "I don't want analgesic, I want answers!"
