how the fuck do you spell "rorschach test"

@wallhackio It's pretty easy if you know German. "sch" is the same sound that's spelled "sh" in English. "ch" is pronounced like the X in TeX.

@wallhackio Who or what is Rorschach, by the way? Looking it up gives me a village in Austria.

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio fwiw I agree with the "Controversy" section, but I'm also surprised there is even this much to write about it.

@The_T @wallhackio Oh, it's the "what do you see in these images" thing? Hold on, let me try it, just for fun

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio bold of you to assume clodboy knows how the X is purronunced :blobmeow_tongue:

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio where do I start? I thought tex and latex would be pronounced ks at the end but apparently it's pronounced k at the end but apparently it's supposed to be x at the end? which is also how I thought ch is pronounced

@onfy @wallhackio Whoever recorded that audio file has it wrong, it's not supposed to be pronounced with a k at the end :blobcat_notlikethis:

I would tell you how to pronounce it, but that'd require putting up my voice online, and I'm not doing that...

@onfy @wallhackio Do you know how the Russian letter х is pronounced? It has that on the end...

@vaporeon_ @wallhackio yes that's how I thought it's pronounced. it sounds like a j in Spanish

@wallhackio @onfy @vaporeon_ the purroject may sanction this purronunciation but i do not have to agree

@aescling @wallhackio @vaporeon_ afaict this is considered the "american" pronunciation. I guess because americans are dummies who don't even speak spanish or russian... or scottish (it might be a sound in arabic too?)

@vaporeon_ @aescling @wallhackio I'm not even sure why I asked thinking about it, those pronunciations are common here (but I'll say in Arthur the aardvark takes care to pronounce bach with the fricative)
