@monorail finally someone who gets it
@The_T genuinely if you were in VC with me while i was playing a fighting game you'd hear "i'm the worst player who ever touched the stick. oh my god. i'm so fucking sick nasty. how could i even possibly lose. jesus christ i have to uninstall. i'm top 1 in this game"
@monorail It would make me sad at first but I guess eventually I'd get used to it
I guess I'm also not immune to treating myself this way; but I don't want to
@The_T the things is that the lows are real but the highs? they are so high
@monorail not real...........
@The_T i'm not saying they're true just that the low feeling is real
@monorail that's why it'd make me sad!!! weh
@The_T the thing is that like
it's not THAT low. it's just
when i'm losing i can't even think of what i'd have to do to win. but when i'm winning? i can't imagine a world where i could lose
@monorail I definitely think I've never experienced highs or lows that extreme. I'm always way more in the middle.
@The_T one time at a melee local i lost so hard that i had to say "i'm going to go get food", sit down in the five guys, and just steam for like 45 minutes
but like. coming out on the top of a close match against a good player is maybe the best feeling in the world. it balances out easily in my favour
@The_T @wallhackio @monorail that’s because i follow vaporeon, a consequence of the fact that i am a sucker fur pokémon
@wallhackio @monorail you follow vaporeon
