is, for example, "saturday makes three months since [event]" a normal construction in english or am i just copying spanish with that nowadays
@alyssa i think i would purrefur “saturday makes for […]” but i think it “saturday makes” would sound fine and grammatical to me if i heard someone saying it
@alyssa Normal in English I think. There's an optional "it" after the "makes" to me, "Saturday makes [it] three months ...", I don't have any inclination one way or the other whether it's there or not.
