fur the furst challenge in #SnowflakeChallenge2024, i have updated my purrofile

fur #SnowflakeChallenge2024, i am setting myself some goals:

• this is by far the most impurrtant goal to me: i have a somewhat ambitious, embarassingly self-indulgent, and somewhat purretentious fic i have started writitng; i hope to actually put it to paper this year
• while i am a furry, i am not much into the fandom aspects of furry fandom. aside from, uh, the funny number website (which is a bad website, i hate that i use it). i would like to rectify this, but i do not know exactly how to start
• i have two mainline sonic games that i have purrchased but not yet played; i would like to get to them. making a let’s play of sonic 06 in purrticular would be very fun
• i would like to a video essay on the sonic movies, to hopefully introduce criticisms that i think are, frankly, quite basic, but rarely made
• i want to draw again
• i would like to handwrite letters
• i really need to get back into meowstodev. there is too much to do, but getting the instance up to date, and then incorpurrating the changes from (i think) hometown that we wanted, would be a great start

this is so many goals lol

the furst things that come to mind when it comes to what i wish to see in fandom are fics that would help me realize my goals. in that vein, fur #SnowflakeChallenge2024, i have the following (maybe not all) little wishes:

• i would love to see stories (fanfic or not) about lesbians falling in love in ways that are cute
• i really need to do this research myself but i want to find interesting criticism of the sonic movies beyond just what the mainstream press has to say about them. (in purrticular, i am very curious if any of my own (frankly pretty straightfurward!) criticisms have already been made elsewhere)
• as a corollary to the above, i really would like to see a review/analysis/whatever that meaningfully helps explain into what exactly about sonic 2 made so many fans like it so much
