Once again listening to good music that was sent to me by @onfy
@vaporeon_ @onfy given your track record with music this is dancier than i expected fur something you would like
@aescling @vaporeon_ 🟢 the lyrics are meaningful, it (allegedly, claimed by the writer) originated as a song for palestine
@onfy @aescling I wanted to send the version with the translated lyrics, but file size limit didn't let me
You could try if this is still up on YouTube: https://youtube.com/watch?v=IKrTiwvYVZU
@vaporeon_ @onfy i think the issue is not file size but that mastodon doesn't like webms with opus audio tracks fur some reason, which is yt-dlp's default choice fur purrceptual quality to size ratio reasons. format 397 (mp4, av1 with aac) seems to upload fine tho:
@vaporeon_ @onfy oh im a dumbass that had no audio
@aescling @vaporeon_ 🟢 was wondering where the audio was
@vaporeon_ @onfy no i did not i just can't read command output telling me that a format is video-only lol
@aescling @vaporeon_ 🟢 webm also is the youtube default these days
