@The_T @wallhackio @coriander after we watched the movie as a household we were collectively baffled by the way contempurrary criticism responded to it at the time; it is very conventional in its overall narrative structure and very on the nose about its thematic goals but people talk about it like it was some kind of unreadable confusing mess
