this is not remotely effective as a stereotype of my brother but let me have this
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio Bumby the Loaf wearing Ugg boot(ie)s and drinking an iced latte
re: this is not remotely effective as a stereotype of my brother but let me have this
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio this was a common stereotype of girls in 2010s america
re: this is not remotely effective as a stereotype of my brother but let me have this
@vaporeon_ @aescling when I was in high school "basic" was a perjorative term used to make fun of people who only engage in popular things
Like only ever listening to music on popular radio or only watching marvel movies would be "basic"
it was most often used in a misogynistic way, unfortunately. there was a certain style of boots made by the fashion brand UGG that were referred to as "ugg boots" that were often made fun of for being basic (see attached image). that and drinking pumpkin spice lattes, since starbucks was a bit of a cultural phenomenon when I was in high school and induced a brief coffee culture in the states
re: this is not remotely effective as a stereotype of my brother but let me have this
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ @aescling can't relate to this, can't imagine Marvel movies being popular
re: this is not remotely effective as a stereotype of my brother but let me have this
@aescling @wallhackio I don't understand, but I'm amused by the idea of Clodsire wearing boots on his paws
