@cam I am NEVER to be trusted with hardware
@wallhackio @cam Please tell me about the questionable things that you did with hardware
@vaporeon_ @cam it's more of just a general clumsiness with physical objects, I don't actually have any good stories with hardware specifically
I was a menace in my high school chemistry lab
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ @cam the teachers knew we could be trusted to clean up the Dangerous Acid
they did not like WHY they knew we could be trusted to reliably clean up the Dangerous Acid
@aescling @wallhackio @cam Did you spill the dangerous acid?
@vaporeon_ @aescling @cam we both spilled the dangerous acid. many times.
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ @cam we were infamous
@aescling @wallhackio @vaporeon_ believe it or not despite working in a molecular biology lab I actually sucked at organic chemistry lab
@aescling @wallhackio @vaporeon_ I haven't really done anything dangerous (well, I work with chloroform but I haven't spilled it or anything) or gotten injured in my line of profession aside from slicing my finger on a glass coverslip once
@cam @aescling @vaporeon_ oh damn that sounds painful as hell
@wallhackio @cam @vaporeon_ honestly i worry more that that kind of cut might not have been painful
@cam @wallhackio @vaporeon_ well at least any bleeding wasn’t unexpected i guess lol
@vaporeon_ @wallhackio @aescling I did disinfect it and put a bandaid on when she left after like 30 mins
@wallhackio @vaporeon_ @aescling at the time I was a very awkward 19-20 year old and knew my advisor would make a big deal of it if I told her so I literally just stuffed my bleeding hand into a nitrile glove and pretended it didn’t happen
